I’ve been in this industry for over 30 years — behind the chair, running a team, wearing all the hats. I’ve seen the best of it: the creativity, the connection, the pure buzz of a packed column. And I’ve seen the worst of it: the burnout, the guesswork, the “just wing it and hope for the best” approach that so many stylists and salon owners are forced into.
When I was starting out, for me there was no roadmap. That I could afford. No one telling me how to actually build something , let alone lead a team or balance the books. So I figured it out the hard way. And now? I’m making sure you don’t have to.
Booked and Busy was built to bridge that gap. Turning talented Hairdressers into confident professionals, and overwhelmed owners into true leaders with strong systems behind them.
What I Believe
Great hair isn’t enough — confidence, professionalism, and client connection are what make a stylist unforgettable.
Apprentices deserve more than being the “shampoo kid.” You deserve guidance, structure, and someone who actually shows you the ropes.
No apprentice should have to figure it out alone — your future depends on support, not just survival.
Being busy is good. Being booked with confidence, purpose, and loyal clients is better.
